Berclair Mansion-Visit 3 Beeville,Texas(Investigation Report)
On 10/19/2007 we conducted our third investigation of the Berclair Mansion.
We arrived at 6:30pm and preceded to set up our equipment, we ran 2 DVR systems to cover both floors. Unfortunately, after reviewing all video evidence no paranormal activity was caught on our DVR's that night. However, we did capture quite a few EVP's from both upstairs and downstairs.
At the beginning of our investigation in the upstairs bedroom also know as Genevieve's bedroom we started to smell a strong unexplained odor, which to most of our investigators that the odor smelled like urine. We attempted to try and locate where in the bedroom it was coming from, but was unable to locate, the odor lasted only a short period of time and never returned.
Monty, Orlando and David were upstairs when they heard heavy footsteps, as if someone was running down the hall, no one else was upstairs at the time this occurred.
All investigators went upstairs with Shirley and sat in the hallway. While sitting there we could see what appeared to a shadow of a man pacing from room to room. We could hear heavy footsteps as he paced. Upon our continued investigation through EVP work, he relayed that he was a solider hiding. As I was sitting against the wall, I moved to get a better look down the hall, upon moving away from the wall there was a cold breeze and I felt as if someone was running their hand up the back of my shirt. We could also hear the piano downstairs playing a few cords, upon going downstairs it would stop.
We concluded our investigation around 2am.
Upon reviewing our evidence on the amount of EVP's was gathered and all the personal experiences we had, I can honestly say that the Berclair Mansion is Haunted.
We would also like to Thank Shirley for allowing us to Investigate this Beautiful Mansion, it was truly and Honor to have been the first Paranormal group allowed to Investigate the Berclair Mansion. It was also an Honor to participate in the first ever Ghost Tour of the Berclair Mansion. We are looking forward to our return visit very soon. |
